This premium 7 stage reverse osmosis system is ideal for those who want demineralized water on any municipal water supply including those using chloramination. It utilizes a patented single piece manifold system that eliminates 17 hose connections for improved reliability and is provided with a top-mount designer faucet for ease of installation.
Details:
This premium 7-stage reverse osmosis/deionization unit has been designed to meet specifications required by Dr. Hal Huggins, DDS. It produces laboratory grade, highly purified deionized water. It is ideal for producing water used in medical detoxification programs. Its patented single piece manifold system eliminates 17 hose connections for improved reliability and ease of installation. KDF®55 and catalytic carbon prefilter reduces chloramines and suppresses bacterial build-up in the system. Carbon Block prefilter reduces VOC’s and chemicals that impart tastes and odors. A premium 50 gpd thin-film composite membrane provides fast water production of ultra-high purity. A granular activated postfilter removes volatile organics, a mixed bed deionizaton postfilter removes any remaining minerals, and a special acid-washed coconut shell postfilter improves taste. Elegant “Euro” style top-mount lead-free faucet is both beautiful and easy to install. The system also includes a continuous TDS monitor to insure that the quality of water dispensed is always known. Installation kit and housing wrench included. Optional Booster Pump is available and recommended where water pressure is less than 45 psi.
NOTE: Chloramine is not the same as chlorine. It is a mixture of chlorine and ammonia that is very difficult to remove from water. It will pass right through a normal reverse-osmosis system or a distiller, and become concentrated in the product water. In susceptible individuals, chloramine causes gastric irritation. Many municipalities now use chloramine instead of chlorine as a disinfectant because it has been discovered that chlorine can combine with dissolved organic matter in water and create cancer-causing by products. Many cities with surface water supplies high in dissoved organic matter (caused by decaying plants, algae, leaves, etc.) cannot comply with new EPA regulations limiting these by-products so it is cheaper to use chloramine to disinfect the water than remove the dissolved organic matter.
What's Included
Installation kit, tubing-attached faucet, housing wrench and extra "O" ring included. Optional Booster Pump is recommended if water pressure is less than 45 psi. Optional decorator "Euro" syle faucet is available in chrome or brushed nickel. Optional Nanoceram® Superfilter will extend life of membrane in areas where high amounts of colloidal turbidity affect water quality.
Features and Benefits
Patented manifold design eliminates 17 hose connections for improved reliability and ease of installation
Special LWKDC catalytic activated carbon/KDF® prefilter removes chloramines that can go right through standard reverse-osmosis systems and become concentrated in the product water.
KDF® 55 prefilter keeps water in the system bacteriostatic.
Premium Dow Filmtec® 50 gpd thin-film composite (TFC) membrane far outperforms typical membranes used in residential RO systems.
GAC postfilter improves taste and includes premium John Guest "Easy-Connect" fittings so replacement is simple.
Built-in TDS meter insures that water quality is what you expect.
Premium commercial-grade components make for long life and high reliability.
