Description
This 4 stage reverse osmosis system uses a thin-film composite membrane to produce up to 15 gallons per day. Its first stage is a sediment filter that reduces dirt, sand, and rust particles down to 5 microns in size. The second stage is a premium carbon block prefilter that reduces VOC's and chemicals that impart tastes and odors. The third stage is a premium 15 gpd thin-film composite membrane capable of producing ultra-high purity water. A GAC postfilter improves taste.

NOTE: Chloramine is not the same as chlorine. It is a mixture of chlorine and ammonia that is very difficult to remove from water. It will pass right through a normal reverse-osmosis system or a distiller, and become concentrated in the product water. If chloramine removal is important, consider model LWCT-445 or LWCT-545UP. They include chloramine removal technology.

Consider either model LWCT-445 with optional booster pump or model LWCT-545UP if water pressure is less than 40 psi.
