This is an easily portable 5-stage water treatment system that provides effective reduction of chlorine, chloramine and other disinfection by-products, fluoride, arsenic and other heavy metals, volatile organic chemicals (VOC's), hormone disruptors, and pathogenic microorganisms, yet refines water in a way that preserves the healthy alkaline minerals of calcium, magnesium and potassium. The system also improves the redox potential of water (imparts extra electrons) causing it to become a potent anti-oxidant! This effect is easily measured with any meter capable of measuring redox potential.

Most importantly, because alkaline minerals are preserved, the system makes water that is extremely delicious for drinking or making your favorite beverages. Best of all the system works without power or the need for high water pressures and provides a continuous supply of filtered water even during emergencies and power outages — just when you need it the most. NOTE: Chloramine is not the same as chlorine. It is a mixture of chlorine and ammonia that is very difficult to remove from water. It will pass right through a reverse-osmosis system or a distiller, and become concentrated in the product water. In susceptible individuals, chloramine causes gastric irritation. Many municipalities now use chloramine instead of chlorine as a disinfectant because it has been discovered that chlorine can combine with dissolved organic matter in water and create cancer-causing by products. Many cities with surface water supplies high in dissoved organic matter (caused by decaying plants, algae, leaves, etc.) cannot comply with new EPA regulations limiting these by-products so it is cheaper to use chloramine to disinfect the water than remove the dissolved organic matter. What's Included
The LIVINGWATERS™ LWSWCT3 features two white and one clear polypropylene housing with lead-free, stainless steel, long-reach spout and chrome diverter valve. It is supplied with one LW10HA2 cartridge in the first housing, one LW10NCSTMF ultrafiltration cartridge in the second housing, and one LW10KCAC in the third housing. Unit is also supplied with a faucet adaptor package that will allow easy hook-up to most faucets, a spanner wrench, and extra silicone “O” ring.
