10" Full-Flow NanoCeram® Pleated SuperFilter for Extended Service on Rust & Sediment

This 10" Full-Flow NanoCeram® Pleated Superfilter is designed for extended service on water that contains very fine rust, sediment, and colloidal turbidity. NanoCeram is an electropositive filter media with a nominal two micron pore size permitting high flow rates, but it is highly efficient in removing particles as small asÊa few nanometers. When pleated to form the Superfilter, it is capable of producing clear water from very muddy sources. This unique filter has a dirt holding capacity more than 20 times greater than conventional cartridges, with a filtration efficiency of 99.99% or higher. It is functionally equivalent to a 0.03 micron pore size filter, and is highly effective for removing turbidity, bacteria and cysts and even virus.

New NanoCeram® cartridges have 20 times greater capacity than conventional cartridges. As compared to microglass, meltblown and membrane media, the new nanofilter has superior performance for filtering particles from microns down to a few nanometers.

Waterborne pathogenic microorganisms are a major source of disease worldwide. NanoCeram® retains 99.9999% of viruses, bacteria and protozoa such as Cryptosporidium at flow rates hundreds of times greater than virus-rated ultraporous filters. Turbidity of effluents are typically below 0.01 NTU until the filter is exhausted.
