| A proprietary vegetable culture tablet and capsule base | |
Over twenty years ago, Biotics Research began developing a method of using living plant cells as a tableting base, rich in antioxidants, that assist in the process of tablet dissolution. This avoids the use of typical allergens such as yeast, wheat, cornstarch and sugars.
This base is photochemically rich and high in polyphenolic compounds and antioxidant enzymes, providing substantial free radical quenching activity.
Culture conditions are rigidly controlled to insure consistent quality, then the cultures are dehydrated at low heat to preserve their enzymes, vitamins, minerals, microflora, and phytochemical activity.
Biotics established a way to insure that their vegetable cultures contain high levels of a compound called Superoxide Dismutase (SOD). SOD is the enzyme that degrades one of the more toxic by-products of metablolism known as the superoxide free radical. They also contain high levels of Catalase, an enzyme that degrades hydrogen peroxide, another potent free radical.

| Emulsified nutrients for improved uptake and utilization | |
Our first food comes from our mother’s breasts. It contains proteins and fats in an emulsified form to afford optimum utilization. Nature also emulsifies the oils in seeds and nuts. Emulsified nutrients are not only far more absorbable and more easily utilized by the body, they are also more cost effective. Many products require only 1/3 the dose to achieve serum levels of unemulsified nutrients.

| Neonatal Glandular Concentrates produced from USDA inspected tissues of US origin | |
Glandular therapy is a proven effective method of rebuilding organ strength. Most glandular products are produced from adult tissue obtained from slaughterhouses. These adult tissues have accumulated the effects of aging and/or enfironmental exposure, which dramatically lessens the quality of the material. Neonatal bovine glandular and organ tissue from Biotics Research have not aged, and have not been exposed to the same environmental stresses as adult glandular tissue.
Newborn glandular tissues contain significantly less fat than adult tissues and therefore do not require processing with harsh chemical defatting agents. This allows for gentle processing at low temperatures, thus preserving the enzymes, vitamins and other nutritional factors.
Neonatal tissues are in an anabolic state and have greater cell density than adult tissues. The result is higher amounts of desirable components such as proteins, enzymes, DNA, RNA, and glandular factors.
